Meet the Staff
Shannon Peterson - Executive Director
Ms. Peterson has served as Executive Director since 2005 and is responsible for the administration and project management of KBRT. Shannon began working with KBRT in 2002 as a research technician. She was hired in 2004 as the Restoration Coordinator. Before joining KBRT, Ms. Peterson was with the non-profit AMD&ART, which worked to restore streams and land impacted by abandoned coal mines. MS. Peterson served two years with the Peace Corps in South America, has a BS in Environmental Sciences, a BA in Political Science, and is completing her Masters' Degree in Water Resources Management at Oregon State University.

Chrysten Lambert - Director of Water Transactions
Chrysten served as the first Executive Director of KBRT and contributed to the early successes of the organization. After resigning in 2005 Chrysten joined the Board of Directors, but has now rejoined the staff to develop KBRT's Water Transactions Program. Chrysten holds a MS in Geology from the uNiversity of Washington, and degrees in Geology and Environmental Sciences From Duke University. Email: clambert@kbrt.org
Carolyn Doehring - Restoration Director
Before joining KBRT in 2010, Carolyn spent three years working with The Nature Conservancy on the Williamson River Delta restoration project on Upper Klamath Lake. Carolyn has also spent time with the US Geological Survey and the National Park Service. Carolyn has a degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Aquinas College, and a host of honors.

Molly Russell - Financial Manager
Molly is a certified CPA and PFO, and spent 15 years as the Director of Accounting for the City of Spokane. Since moving to Klamath Falls she has become an active member of the community, donating her time and expertise to the Klamath Outdoor Science School, Integral Youth Services, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
